Azbil Malaysia selects eFACiLiTY – Maintenance Management System to integrate with Azbil’s BMS (savic-net FX) for Royal Malaysia Police

Since its inception in 1906, Azbil has built and provided measurement and control technologies to customers worldwide. Azbil had begun to establish overseas affiliates in 1992. The first was set up in China and this was followed by affiliates in Thailand in 1995, USA, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, India, Belgium, and Vietnam. Their advanced products and systems have been used to operate plants, factories and office buildings.

Solution:
Azbil Malaysia had previously worked along with SIERRA in successfully implementing – eFACiLiTY® – Maintenance Management Software along with their BMS (savic-net FX) for one of their projects. Due to that successful experience, Azbil chose the same suite to be an efficient and user friendly application to maintain and manage Royal Malaysia Police vital operations.

The eFACiLiTY® – Asset / Maintenance Management module picks up alarms from the individual assets in case of any malfunction, generates work orders automatically and alerts the maintenance technicians / contractors over SMS and email, ensures the regular monitoring of all the assets by producing timely reports and analysis required to measure the PPM performance. The preventive maintenance possibility leaves the maintenance workers with less planning requirement as work-orders are auto-generated and directly sent to technicians as and when required.
SIERRA’s eFACiLiTY® software integrates seamlessly with many Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation Systems (BAS). This property enables all alarms from the assigned equipment are processed and maintenance work orders are automatically generated and triggered with Email/SMS alerts to the respective technician/contractor.
With the solution presented by eFACiLiTY®, SIERRA has proposed to integrate its “eFACiLiTY® Facility Management” Suite of applications, with Azbil’s BMS (savic-net FX) for Royal Malaysia Police.
