WMS/WCS Automation Support Consultant

We are seeking an experienced WMS/WCS Automation Support Consultant to support warehouse automation commissioning, operational stabilization, and production support activities at a customer site. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), automation integrations, and operational troubleshooting.

• Provide commissioning and operational support for WMS and WCS applications.
• Understand, analyze, and validate warehouse business processes and automation workflows.
• Troubleshoot application and system issues through log analysis and root cause investigation.
• Validate implemented solutions against business and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with WMS/WCS development and vendor teams for defect resolution and enhancements.
• Work closely with customer project teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support operational stabilization during commissioning and go-live phases.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Assist with issue tracking, documentation, and reporting activities.
• Coordinate with automation/PLC teams for WMS-WCS-automation integration-related issues.

• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Good understanding of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
• Experience in warehouse automation and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting application and system issues.
• Ability to analyze logs and identify root causes.
• Familiarity with commissioning and stabilization activities.
• Basic understanding of PLC-based automation systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite at customer locations.

• Experience with SAP EWM or similar WMS platforms.
• Exposure to ASRS, Shuttle System, AGV, conveyor systems, and warehouse automation technologies.
• Experience working with multi-vendor automation environments.
