Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test automation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and automation test cases.
Analyse requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.
Perform API and database validation as part of the testing process.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software by following QA best practices.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for web application test automation.
Good understanding of scripting using Groovy or Java.
Experience in API testing using Postman and REST APIs.
Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
